How to access the Innovation Hub

Booking your space

All our Innovation Hub spaces must be booked and paid for in advance. Outstanding invoices may result in restricted access to future bookings.

The named booker will receive access via a Verkada account and/or keycard, granting them entry only to their booked space. Please ensure keycards are returned to the rom or handed back to the Hub Helpdesk at the end of your session.

Arrival and departure

The Hub operates Monday to Friday from 08:00 – 17:00*
The building automatically locks at 18:00
Please ensure you exit the building by 17:00, unless attending an approved event
A green exit button allows departure via the main Innovation Hub doors after hours

Making the most of your flexible workspace

Rooms and walls

You’re welcome to personalise your space using sticky notes, Blu Tack or Sellotape. Please remove all items and return rooms to their original condition after use.

Internet access

Enjoy free WiFi throughout the Innovation Hub, with login details displayed across the building. For security and performance reasons, private networks and routers are not permitted, and illegal activity is strictly prohibited.

Printing and sustainability

In line with MSIP’s sustainability commitments, printing facilities are not provided. We encourage digital-first working wherever possible.

Coworking, lockers and hot desking

Locker keys are available in the coworking space on a first come, first-served basis. A £10 replacement fee applies for lost or unreturned keys.

Food, drink and social spaces

Tutto Fresco is located on the ground floor, open to Hub users and the public from Monday 22 June 2026.

Food can be enjoyed in meeting rooms or the coworking space. A shared kitchen with a fridge, microwave and hot water point is available upstairs. Please clean all items after use – keeping the space tidy is a shared responsibility.

We ask all users to be considerate of others:

Keep calls at a respectful volume
Use our quiet booths for online meetings where possible

We regularly host events on the ground floor of our Innovation Hub. A monthly events calendar is displayed in the Showcase Space – please be mindful of delegates during these times.

Safety and security at MSIP

CCTV and security

CCTV operates at key entry and exit points for safety purposes, with footage retained up to 30 days. MSIP is a reduced vehicle parc/campus, supported by an onsite security team during working hours.

Bikes

Cycle racks are available near the security lodge for Innovation Hub users.

Parking and accessibility

Visitor parking is available near the security lodge*
Three accessible parking bays are located outside the Innovation Hub
Blue badge holders can access these bays via security assistance
Event organisers may access loading bays during setup and takedown only

*Car Park North operates Monday to Friday from 08:00 – 17:00. The car park is locked at 17:00 and remains locked all weekend.

Additional policies

Insurance

MSIP covers the building and its own assets; users must insure personal belongings.

Lost property

All lost property items are held for up to one month at the Helpdesk and then will be handed into a local Police Station.

Mail and deliveries

Mail and deliveries are only permitted for MSIP tenants.

Animals

Our Innovation Hub is not pet-friendly, except for service dogs.

Smoking and vaping

Smoking and vaping is only permitted in the dedicated shelter on the north side of the Innovation Hub.
